Matteo Scalera was born in Parma (Italy) on 1982.
After studying graphic design he attended the School of Comics in Milan.
He actually works for various publishers all around the world, from the american Image Comics (Hyperkinetic, Dynamo 5, Popgun) and Marvel (House of Ideas) to the French FullFX (Foot Dragons) and Casterman/Jungle (Famous Five), to the italian Giochi Preziosi (Gormiti). His artistic research is mainly focused on the experimentations on extreme dynamism and cool colors.
