Alex was born in Neubrandenburg, East-Germany, he spent his childhood on the Island "Usedom" and now lives in Wuppertal and works as a packaging designer in Düsseldorf. He has been drawing stuff since his childhood, at first mostly cartoon characters till he developed growing interest in street art and graffiti with the age of 12. After various years of this hobby, he explored the possibilites of Photoshop and vector graphics, which then was his major interest artistically.

The artwork he creates in his spare-time is almost always a strong contrast to his work-life, where everything has to look pleasing, clean and sleek. His biggest idol artistically is probably Todd McFarlane, creator of Spawn and other comics, because of his ability to draw almost everything in an extremely dynamic style, with smoke, chains and debris flying all over the illustrations.

Alex did not study design, is self-taught and the only non-graduated art director in the design company that he is working in. He is addicted to dynamic movements, explosive compositions and over-saturated colors, always trying to push the limits of his abilities with his next piece of art. And heck, he's in it for the fun!
